Partnerships and forward-thinking approaches can turn challenges into opportunities. A recent workshop was held in Santa Fe to tackle one of our most pressing challenges: securing more funding for water projects and initiatives. Leaders across state, federal, tribal, philanthropic, and private sectors came together to explore innovative funding mechanisms to meet NM’s water needs now and into the future. By focusing on priorities like small community drinking water regionalization, aquifer mapping, and riparian conservation, this initiative can set help the stage for smarter, more resilient water solutions.
